Leah Nichols’ short animated film is a wonderful example of how much power a simple idea can have when it’s well executed.
My roll in this piece was simple audio clean-up, mostly done with iZotope RX. The audio was recorded with a cell phone and a Zoom with a lav mic (I think?), while walking through various noisy environments in San Francisco. Poor capture quality and challenging recording environment? Check and check. Luckily, the content is so good that as long as it’s intelligible not much else matters.
